Environment, Flora and Fauna
Certain geologic and climatic events as well as the isolation of the continent allowed Australia to develop its unique fauna. A species very dominant are the marsupials. Marsupials are mammals that have their own “carry bags” in which they often rear their offspring.
Famous marsupials include kangaroos and, maybe a bit surprising for non biologists, Koalas. Apart from these world famous Australian icons there are many more unique animals to explore.
